OMBUDS SERVICES

The mission of Ombuds Services is to provide independent advocacy and information and referral services to people receiving or seeking to receive community mental health services in Lewis, Pacific and Wahkiakum Counties.

The Ombuds Services provides opportunity to resolve client complaints. A complaint is an informal verbal or written statement by a client, family member or other client representative, which expresses dissatisfaction with some aspect of mental health services or lack thereof. The complaint may be filed with a community mental health agency, the regional support network or the Ombuds Services. The goal is to bring resolution to the complaint at the lowest possible level. The regional support network encourages resolution of complaints at the lowest possible level. In addition the Ombuds gives information and referrals.
